About
Pallavi Khurana
I study how people present themselves online and how those presentations shape what others perceive. My path runs from communication practice in corporate settings to doctoral research in communication science, and I am drawn to questions where message design and audience response meet.

Orientation
Communication practice and communication science
My early work in public relations and corporate communication taught me how messages are shaped for specific audiences and how organizations manage perception. Graduate study in communication science gave me the tools to ask those same questions empirically, with attention to measurement and design.
Today my research combines mixed-methods inquiry, experimental design, and scale development to examine online self-presentation, message effects, and personality and trust perceptions. I value collaboration across communication contexts and approach each study with a clear question, method, and evidence.
